Overview of Loading/Unloading Instructions

Please refer to the Users Manual for complete detailed operating instructions.

Loading equipment installed on a Stands Alone unit, requires normal driving skills and a minimal amount of training.

The approximate loading and unloading time is 2 - 3 minutes.

  • Remove tailgate and store safely.
  • Raise truck dump box 3' - 4'. (This allows the bed to be slightly lower than the leading edge roller.)
  • Back-up until the bed is under the roller and nearly touching the front legs.
At this point the box is lowered until the weight is transferred to the roller from the front legs.
  • Release the front leg locks.
  • Reversing slowly will now apply pressure to the front legs. (As the truck continues in reverse, the front legs will swing up into the main frame.)
  • Continue reversing until the truck bed contacts the rear legs.
  • Lower the box. (This will raise the rear legs clear of the ground.)
  • Pull rear leg pins and telescope them up. Secure with the pins.
  • Secure sander/tank with boomers. (The boomer chains must be installed from underneath where they hook to the truck box. This will minimize the chance of an insecure load.)
  • Hook-up hydro and any electrical connections.
  • Unloading...
is accomplished in the same safe manner by reversing the procedure.
